MLM Success Team Building In Two Minutes. Most people love a good story.When introducing your business opportunity to a new prospect, they're making their mind up in the first 30 seconds of your presentation. Do you think it'd be beneficial to have a great first sentence to start out with?
Two minutes can be just the right amount of time to get your key points across without giving them information overload. Like the two minute warning in football, you want to give them your best plays or in this case play on words to give yourself a better chance. Word pictures are a great tool to utilize here to get your prospect dreaming and have them continue to dream daily. More on those in a later post. But they can be used in your story to make it more effective.
An effective great first sentence and/or phrase that my mentor taught me is:"I've got a good story. Takes about two minutes. Might make you alot of money might not. Would you like to here it?
This grabs their attention because most people love a good story. It's also only two minutes, so the prospect relaxes and figures two minutes? Why not. Might and might not are words that make you not come across as a salesman with promises. And lastly, you're asking them permission by asking them if they'd like to here it. All this with just a few sentences.
